So Far So Good!
1 July 2016.
Fast isn't it? First half of 2016 is already gone..
Well.. Been wanting to get a pt job but has been dragging and dragging due to issues and commitments here and there.. Shall find one soonnnn though..
Sent off Bestie to Korea for her 1 month Summer Exchange just a few hours ago.. Sad being unable to see her for 1 month.. But glad for her though.. Hope she will have loads of fun and enjoy her time there~
Daily happenings are just here and there that I shan't elaborate on.. Went on a JB trip with BFFs on a fine day in June and can't wait to go again..
Days where Omma is not working are always shiok but just a few days this time round though so.. Not shiok enough!! Tsk!
Time to jot on some drama notes and rant on some recent entertainment issues to look back on..
So for the past month.. I have watched 犀利仁师, 长在面包树上的女人, 十年 你还好吗, My Lovely Girl and the just completed Entertainer.
犀利仁师 was more for the sake of 隆诗 couple which was their 3rd drama together,, Their chemistry is good and just looking at them makes you feel so sweet haha. It was a fiction, comedy 古装 drama which is kinda light-hearted and progressive plot..
长在面包树上的女人 was for the sake of Bosco Wong initially.. Hahaha and gosh I really took my time to watch through this good ol' 38 episodes! Saying initially as, as the drama progresses there are some pointers to look on and ponder about.. This drama talks about 3 woman with different perspectives on love, going through the various trials and tribulations in life in the seek of their ideal ones and lives eventually..
Name as it is.. Love or Bread? Or both Love and Bread? That's the main question.
十年 你还好吗 was a Mediacorp Channel 8 9pm show.. It's been long since I have watched a C89pm show as they don't seem to attract my eyes.. This drama is trying to bring the point of 人生没有重来, basically life cannot be rewind.. The melo and open-ended ending in the end has much controversies though..
In my opinion, though such ending can be more impactful and really does set you out to reflect about your life.. But it is really too much of melo throughout.. It could have been better scripted to at least leave a specific ending or allow the leads to be better off than how it just abruptly ended in this way.
Moving on to my most recent 2 K-Dramas.. Started with 1 episode of Entertainer and decided to watch My Lovely Girl first and then move back to Entertainer.. Summarising them together in s nutshell due to the nature of both dramas..
Both dramas are generally talking about the idol agencies and I believe there are really such incidents that happen thus having such dramas.. Both are talking about how despicable and unscrupulous agencies can be (especially the CEOs) can be in order for them to be beneficial.. They show how the leads went through much troubles and unfortunate incidents before setting out to seek for their rights and redressing their grievances, healing through love and kindness..
My Lovely Girl is kinda more fictional and not as unfortunate as Entertainer..
1 point of thought for this is that.. How does the deceased elder sister feel when her younger sister got together with her bf? Just curious as I have a sister too.. Can't imagine it though.. Ha! But that was just a trivial thought of mine..
The healing part through music and companionship was very touching though.. Nevertheless, it was still a good thing that they got together and understood each other's pain and suffering, healing and getting over together in the process instead of living alone in pain..
Entertainer was seriously an awesome one!! It really shows the dark and black side of agencies (maybe still it's not the darkest and blackest side yet as worst of the worst things may be too harsh to mention) and how a once big shot director (Ji Sung) of a huge agency got himself into huge troubles after pitting himself against the agency to protect his artists. He then set-up his own one-man agency and formed a band called the Entertainer (Ddandara) Band. It is a drama that is really worth watching. Shan't elaborate on the subsequent happenings and secrets that unfolds as they progress as a band..
Ji Sung is really awesome that I must mention and give credits to for allowing this drama to be even more vivid and interesting.. I have been watching all of his dramas in the recent years and I must say that he's a really awesome, daebak actor!! The drama may be quite dry and plain in expressions if it was to be without him.. He also manages to inspire his fellow actors in expressing and delivering their lines and expressions.. It looks as if he was really the reliable CEO and hyung that the Ddandara boys could look up to and making them into a huge and lovely family..
He's a really priceless gem~
Hyeri's acting on the other hand is abit (or quite) too over though.. Could be fine-tuned and improve on such that it doesn't feel so surreal..
Another discovery is Min Hyuk!! Yes! It's CN Blue's drummer, Kang Min Hyuk!! His voice sounds so soothing and nice and he was acting as the vocalist of the band in the drama!! He sure would gain popularity and tremendous support if he were to go solo apart from his drummer role in CN Blue.. His acting was adorable in some sense, and also genuine.. Min Hyuk was also another spark in spicing up the drama~
Ddandara boys are kinda cutesy too hahaha.. A loss if you don't watch the drama!
Ok.. And now time to rant on the FNC stocks speculation issue.. Didn't look at this news and subsequent reports till it was mentioned that idols are reportedly involved and under investigation and Yong Hwa was the one!! Was reading the past few days' news on this issue.. Couldn't and wouldn't believe that Yong Hwa was such a person and luckily!! It was proven that he was innocent!! It was really great to know that or he would be doomed for the rest of his life..
Can't believe that this is what they usually stoop to by using the celebs and idols to cover up other things that are going on so as to divert public as well as the whole world's attention.. Sometimes I would wonder perhaps they would be living a simpler life if they have not stepped into the entertainment/showbiz industry.. The industry is already very bizarre but their G mage it even more bizarre and dangerous for them instead of protecting them..

It's time to move on!! Loads of K and TW dramas are awaiting!! Variety Shows have been on and off as usual..

Descendants of the Sun~
Completed watching Descendants of the Sun in less than 3 days..
Unable to move my eyes away from Song Joong Ki~
Omo Omo! Oppa is way too charming and charismatic and all..
Overall, it was a great plot with scenes that make you want to continue on to the next episode.. It allows you to move through the ups and downs along with the casts.. Especially the leads I would say..
Some scenes, almost every episode, are really trying to challenge how strong your heart is.. Whether are you able to take the scenes as it is..
Can see from the scenes why this drama require such huge production costs.. Can understand why it became such a hot and popular drama~
Initially, I was very excited and looking forward to this drama as it was Oppa's comeback drama after two years in the military. Couldn't wait to see Oppa in his first production after his discharge..
However, I backed down when I saw the plot description and the drama's genre.. It was kind of a melo and sad.. With disasters, epidemics, wars and everything..
Been watching more of rom-com dramas or those of light-weight where you can just laugh it off instead of melodramas.. Melodramas are good but they are really too heavy for the heart to take it..
I will still get myself to watch melodramas that are good.. But will usually watch at night and when I'm in a positive mood so as to sorrow only myself within the 'melo' environment..
Was glad that I didn't miss this drama!! Highly recommended!!
Going to watch the 3 special episodes but don't feel like completing it in one shot though.. Sighs.. Just couldn't get enough of Oppa.. Wish that Oppa could take on another drama real soon.. Can't wait to see him in the next production.. He's real damn awesome!!

Freedom!!
Freedom!!
Yes it's freedom!!
But!! No no no.. It's unfortunately not the end of misery though..
As exam marks an end, It's undoubtedly the arrival of freedom and loads of enjoyment.
However, the end of exam also marks the start of worrying and fear about results.
Thought that MA will be a doable paper.. but due to change of syllabus.. the crazy setter (definitely must be crazy no doubts) setted a not seen before and tough paper! Was expecting it to be a manageable paper, so I was hoping to get a better mark for this paper but it seems that a pass is already a very good mark for me.. CMC and Maths should be able to pass if there are no crop-ups..
FM is the killer for me this year!! Praying hard for a miracle to happen such that the marker will grant me a pass for this paper! I can't afford and wouldn't want to fail and retake it in a few months' time..
Been thinking about the papers since I officially ended exams on 13 May 2016 @ 5.30pm ..
Seriously super worried for FM.. Have been tidying up all loose papers, notes and all in the late afternoon to evening time. Kept everything nicely into arch files but didn't dare to keep for FM! Really dread at the thought and the very high possibility of retaking this module..
Been pondering about the remainder modules that I shall be taking in a few months time though exams has just ended..
It's time to take a break from all these worrying and fearful thoughts at least for the next 2 months!! It's time to enjoy!! It's time for fun!! It's time for endless dramas!!
Getting back into drama mode!! Spamming dramas mode!!
Been spamming variety shows only throughout the exam period.. And I managed to watch 必娶女人,我的30定律,舞吧舞吧在一起 and Oh My Venus in the span of March to April while prepping for exams.. And also finally completed my 恋爱邻距离 before starting all those dramas!!
Though Running Man is still my no. 1 bias, I have to say that 2 Days 1 Night (for Cha Tae Hyun hahaha) is indeed funny and educating at times (talking about current issues, history and stuffs).. Also completed the Season3 of 奔跑吧兄弟.. And watched the Return of Superman all the way to the end of triplets le sad sad sad x infinity.. Welcomed Rohui's family and the SoDa siblings..
Finally managed to have time to add a music playlist to my blog.. Featured some of my favourite and super addictive songs.. Set it on a shuffle mode to enjoy different songs at different point of time.. ;)
Time to embark on dramas!! Bye!

爱上哥们~
爱上哥们 was awesome!! A definite must-watch!!
A rom-com and at the same time, managed to bring out some melodic but light parts perfectly~
The whole flow of the drama was smooth-riding..
The leads and whole cast were perfectly in place!!
Most importantly, it accompanied me throughout my studies~
杜琵 couple was awesome~ 青娜 couple as well~
Almost every episode ended on a sweet note and leaves you wanting to continue to find out what's going to happen next immediately!
A highly recommended drama!!
The OSTs were very crucial as well in bringing out the whole drama~
They were very addictive and 朗朗上口~
Each and every song were nice and perfect!!
Lastly, there was even a special episode to satisfy drama lovers and watchers!!
How awesome is this!!

No Way!
8 March 2016. Less than 2 months and the dreadful May is approaching.
Exams Month. Stress Month. Tired Month. Burned-Up Month.
Always hope to get through it ASAP but at the same time, feeling so worried as studies can't seem to be able to be completed by the time it approaches. How contradicting. And I admit it. The papers are undoubtedly extremely tough and seems even more so under stringent exam conditions. Well.. Pray hard then!!
Time really seems to have put on wings and are flying through.. 15 days of CNY ended abruptly. Had lots of fun but fun are always not enough.. Can't wait for April's approach to have some relaxing and fun-filled days~
Completed Bubblegum and 唯一继承者 plus ongoing variety shows~ Came across some long long ago shows while scrolling and went on to watch some memorable parts while reminiscing~ Ongoing addiction 恋爱邻距离 is still ongoing with the remaining 9 episodes but I can't bear to complete it anytime soon due to my 浈希 couple~
Accompanied with dramas are studies, studies and more studies.. Studying are on and off as usual but it's really a struggle to really sit down and study wholeheartedly.. It's really not me to do so.. Not trying to brag or exaggerate. But, that's how I am. How I really am.
Thinking hard of how or what I can do to minimise the amount of studyings that has to be done as there's really too much to study and it's too difficult to cramp so much stuffs into my brain. What's worst is that I have 2 papers on the same day!! Ooh no! Hell no! Please, no!

Saying Hi! to my blog~ After a long long time~
It's been ages since I have last blogged. First post of 2016 and promise it shall not be a last I hope.
Thanks Bestie for reminding me this place where I have once ranted and shared about myself. It's a great lookback and full of memories and things that I have long long forgotten.
Shall and hopefully will do some regular blogging from now on.. It's really awesome to be able to reminisce and look back on those memories in the near future, or perhaps far far later..

Third week. A good time to look ahead and at the same time. To take a sneak peek back on 2015. Some reflections and resolutions probably.

*A good flashback while happening to listen to 真爱 by 183 Club on YES 933 just awhile ago. A long long ago song from 2005! An OST of 王子变青蛙~ *
2015 was evidently a greater year as compared to the memories I had of 2014. Hoping that the trend continues for me so as to have a great 2016 ahead!
2015 has got quite a number of new and first times for me. A first time taking uni exams. A first time travelling all the way to Expo for exams. A realisation that mugging is very very essential though I am not those type of people. Etc. ETC.
Shan't elaborate on all 365 days or it shall be never endless. But rather on some significant and eventful days.
January 15 2015: AiJing's Birthday Celebration.
January 17 2015: AJ's 21st + 1st time ever going to Mediacorp for The Sheng Siong Show and managed to see Aloysius Pang and Popu Lady.

It wasn't meant to say that the year that had just past was an awful or bad year but looking on and hoping to have an even better year. In fact, 2015 was an awesome year! (y)
Though the past few initial weeks of 2016 wasn't that great and in fact, rather blue and down due to some situations and unexpectancies.. Shall maintain positivities (after all the negativities have ran through my mind once though) and believe the saying of '万事起头难'.. Ha!
Definitely, it's absurd to have everyday a breeze through. Life has its ups and downs and I couldn't expect everyday to be an UP. The UP days are still as great as ever. Such as those days of meeting dearies and well time spent with my dearest ever kids~ ^^
Spent the long new year weekend watching and appreciating She Was Pretty and after that went on to Twenty Again. Both awesome dramas. 2 different genres and I fully enjoyed them. Highly recommended dramas!!
Went from 1 episode each every week of Running Man and The Return of Superman to 2/3 episodes per week hahaha.. Couldn't avoid but dread the fact that the Song Triplets are leaving soon sighs..
Spammed quite a handful episodes of 康熙 from 罗志祥和杨丞琳的真心话大冒险, 夫妻荒唐的事, 历届制作人大集合, 老板劝回, 范冰冰和李晨 and etc episodes.. And it's time to bid farewell to this 12 year-old program.. It will be missed. They will be missed.
Currently ongoing dramas that I'm watching are: 星座爱情牧羊女, Bubblegum and 恋爱邻距离~ Loving the ever awesome 王传一 and 洪小玲 from 恋爱邻距离!!
And it's time to put a pause for now to getting back to my 恋爱邻距离~

Thanks Bestie for reminding me this place where I have once ranted and shared about myself. It's a great lookback and full of memories and things that I have long long forgotten.
Shall and hopefully will do some regular blogging from now on.. It's really awesome to be able to reminisce and look back on those memories in the near future, or perhaps far far later..
2016.
Third week. A good time to look ahead and at the same time. To take a sneak peek back on 2015. Some reflections and resolutions probably.
Looking Back:
*A good flashback while happening to listen to 真爱 by 183 Club on YES 933 just awhile ago. A long long ago song from 2005! An OST of 王子变青蛙~ *
2015 was evidently a greater year as compared to the memories I had of 2014. Hoping that the trend continues for me so as to have a great 2016 ahead!
2015 has got quite a number of new and first times for me. A first time taking uni exams. A first time travelling all the way to Expo for exams. A realisation that mugging is very very essential though I am not those type of people. Etc. ETC.
Shan't elaborate on all 365 days or it shall be never endless. But rather on some significant and eventful days.
January 15 2015: AiJing's Birthday Celebration.
January 17 2015: AJ's 21st + 1st time ever going to Mediacorp for The Sheng Siong Show and managed to see Aloysius Pang and Popu Lady.
January 29 2015: Le Bro's 8th. *
February 7 2015: 爷爷's Birthday Dinner.
February 19 to 22 2015: Happy CNY!! 大年初二 is the best annually. Fun and laughters. Days of munching. Days of eating. Days of playing. Days of crazing.
March & April 2015: Days of mugging and attending Revision Lectures in preparation of Exams.
April 5 2015: Dearest Carlsson's 1st Birthday Party.
April 14 2015: HeYu's 21st.
April 19 2015: Dearest 阿嫲's 90th Birthday Party.

It wasn't meant to say that the year that had just past was an awful or bad year but looking on and hoping to have an even better year. In fact, 2015 was an awesome year! (y)
Though the past few initial weeks of 2016 wasn't that great and in fact, rather blue and down due to some situations and unexpectancies.. Shall maintain positivities (after all the negativities have ran through my mind once though) and believe the saying of '万事起头难'.. Ha!
Definitely, it's absurd to have everyday a breeze through. Life has its ups and downs and I couldn't expect everyday to be an UP. The UP days are still as great as ever. Such as those days of meeting dearies and well time spent with my dearest ever kids~ ^^

2012! I'm back!
Officially ended my first year of poly life on 230212, which is the last paper of Sem 2 -- MacroEcons. Not much hope for this paper le. I just wish to get a pass please. :( That shall get me an overall good grade for the module. :) Stats and POA was alright! ;) And guess what? I managed to finish the papers and made out some time allowance for checking! ^^ Wahahas. That is indeed a sense of achievement as I showed no signs of struggling. Hees. Other modules should be ok and I should be able to get a GPA higher than last sem's, :)
The end of Year 1 also means the end of my life with BH as a class. :( Wonderful times spent throughout the whole year. ^^ Be it the times spent together rushing projects, mugging, waiting for lectures & tutorials during the long two-hour breaks, during tutorials and etc. Laughters will never be missed. Especially times with the 6 of them and the guys. Of course, things doesn't always go that smoothly at all times. Unhappiness and enmity do occur. Selfish attitudes is most evident of all. Shan't elaborate them though. Everything is over and soon, long forgotten or, still remembered but etched at the back of our minds that we wouldn't want to reminisce. :) Year 2 shall be a good one too hopefully. :) Changing class and getting into specialisation, shall see how many of us will be in the same class~ BUT. I don't want to be under the TEP programme, please! :(
Occasional catch-ups with clique! :) Shall meet up more since it's holidays! ^^ Hmmm.. Dined. Chatted. Laughed. Slacked. etc. Shiok! ;) Gees. I know that they will not mind my rantings. Especially sia. :) Anw. It's the same situation. Forgotten soon, after ranting it out and hearing them.
I don't want to get into a war online. Hence, I suppressed it. An advice. Don't ever let my kindness get over you. It's not for the sake of overstepping my limits. NOTE.
The past few months, starting from Oct 2011, shall not be further elaborated. Birthday, X'Mas, CNY and all these.. Shall be 'said' with pictures instead.
Dramas spammed as per normal. Watched Gong Suo Xin Yu, Gong Suo Zhu Lian, Who's The One (that got Tian Xin the best leading actress in TW Golden Bell), the last eight/nine episodes of Bu Bu Jing Xin, re-watched various dramas. There's more. But it seems that my memory is not functioning well at the moment. Shall share more if I could recall. Going to spam as usual during this period.
